Manohla Dargis of The New York Times has reviewed Arts+Labor co-production, The Retrieval calling it “a tough, tender little movie,” with specific praise for the cast, cinematographer Yasu Tanida, and writer/director Chris Eska. “This is also a movie made for the big screen… [Eska] has a feel for landscape, often showing the characters framed against the trees, pale sky and pooling night, as if to emphasize the world in which they exist.”
Congratulations to Chris and the entire Retrieval team. You can watch the trailer above, and check out .
